Have you ever heard of an app were you can write anything you want and have any pictures
you want?  Well storybird has it. Our class went on our iPads and went to STORYBIRD.com .
In storybird you have to drag the pictures on the sides and pull on the page the way you want it
and you can write right next to it like a real book. I thought it was a really good app because I would really have to write about what I wanted and I would not even have to worry about the pictures because they are already there. It was really fun to use because if the words were there and you would have to make the pictures it would be very very difficult and really really hard. It was also a good app because you can write whatever you want to write about. I think you are asking how you find pictures, right? Well, you would have look up on your device and it says search and press that button and search what ever you want to write about. And before aaaaaaaaaaaalllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll of that you have to sign in and you have to press a button that says “sign in” and do not forget your password and your username because it might make you sign in again! So do not forget your password and your username and then you can dive into your imagination. When you think you are done press the button that says save and exit but do NOT! press I am done publish my book because you have not revised your writing piece because what if you put yours on your blog like me and it is not correct so take your time to re-read your writing. At the very end of the book you can make an AUTHOR’S NOTE and you can write where you live and what your most favorite food is and what your most favorite food is and what your most favorite drink. At the very top if you have space you can write AUTHORS NOTE.

My story is about three pandas that have tons of amazing adventures and they have some terrible disasterous adventures. Our class wrote some two voice poems. My poem was kind of a m.ystery because I gave tons of hints and then at the very end they said, “We are sea otters.” We got inspired by Paul Fleischmann. Our teacher said that he was like the king of the two voice poems because he makes the most ever. The two poems that we used were Firefly and Honey Bee. My favorite one was the firefly poem because there were tons of cool and interesting words in firefly.For my poem my partner was Ava. I thought she was a really good partner. A two voice poem is when there is a voice on the right side and the left side, a two voice poem could have tons of types of animals. We recorded in an app called Garage Band. It was hard to do the words right because it was hard to say it at the same time. It was also hard to get to the recording because usually something would go wrong. We sometimes had to go into settings and that really took kind of long because we had to wait for everyone else to be done. We did not have that much practice so we did not do it perfect but I still think we did a really good job.  It took really long.

On April twentieth my class went on a fun and interesting field trip to the San Elijo lagoon. What I thought was interesting was that when we walked on a muddy trail, we bustled around a lizard and his tail was cut off!!!!! I also noticed that herons were rubbing their behinds together and I thought that was so funny and cool because that is probably pretty rare to see at a lagoon. My friend and I saw a bird that’s tail went diagonal up. I heard some pretty “chirps” I noticed that different birds did different songs. The field trip was really really interesting to go on with my whole entire class and it was awesome. I think you should do it with your class or family members. Our class also did something called field notes were we write notes about stuff that we thought was interesting and we also drew pictures in our notebooks.

Our class did a product review that you should not miss. I was excited because my class got to bring our iPads home to take a photo of our favorite Christmas present that we got for Christmas. My favorite present I got was a stuffed animal Panda. His name is Theo. My mom usually doesn’t like my stuffed animals but she really likes Theo because he is cuddly.

I am Lukas. I have five chickens and two turtles and one dog. The dog has a house where there is food and water and his bed. The turtles have a pool that they usually never swim in because it’s dirty because my dad never cleans it. I love my pets.
